About the project
I designed content for a website page showcasing Santander's mobile and online payment solutions for businesses. Our challenge was to help our business customers understand the benefits we can offer them at a moment when digital banking is more important than ever.
How I helped to solve the problem
- Based on user research, we identified four different use cases for Santander's Business solutions, which we explored in our copy.
Recommendations
Working with different teams — such as product, marketing, and legal — can be overwhelming and it's easy to end up with too much information. In order to design a clear, concise, and useful landing page that would meet user needs, I recommended the following:
- Keep text short and use white space to guarantee readability.
- Use everyday words instead of banking jargon, whenever possible.
- Make it sound friendly with active voice, contractions, and other plain language best practices.
- Write descriptive calls to action and keep in mind other accessibility guidelines.
