My project - The Roxy Cinema - in Architectural Sketching with Watercolour and Ink course

Hi! Here's some pictures to show my progress through the course and also my final framed work. For my subject I decided to paint a very well know cinema, The Roxy. I love the architectural style and colour, that's what really drew me to it. I was lucky enough to be able to go view the building in person and take some photos as reference. From this I could make thumbnails and plan properly.
I did run into some little trouble with the inking, I accidently used a pen that wasn't waterproof and had the ink smear during the first wash. It was a little tricky, but I think I was able to fix my mistake. Overall I am pretty happy with the final result.
Doing the framing was nice too and I am very happy to see one of my own paintings hanging in the house :)
