The images are from photographs taken at a singing weekend at a pub in Wales. They have been processed to increase contrast and in some cases been subject to a posterisation process. Printed on Wenzhou paper using an inkjet printer.

The images were printed by taping pieces of Wenzhou paper to normal printer paper with removable tape to enable the printer to feed them through correctly.

The pages are made from A4 sheets of Indian Khadi paper and the endpapers from a coloured Khadi paper. The images were torn out and attached to the pages using a glue stick.

Using the thin Wenzhou paper allows images to be overlapped with the lower image still showing through the light areas of the upper image.

The cover is constructed from 1mm thick vegetable tanned leather. I would rather have had something slightly thinner but this is all that I had to hand. The leather was died with Fiebings leather dyes diluted with thinners and dabbed on with a piece of cotton wool. I didn't fit a a spine strip to the cover as I think the leather was probably too thick to make it work properly.

Teacher PlusA very good project, vert good job and lots of learning there!! Congratulations and thanks a lot for sharing it with us!! And yes, with that thickness of the leather and the size if the book a piece of card to reinforce the spine is not necessary. Good insight too :)
