Please tell me the intriguing story of these potato-head pineapple crab monsters. I'd love to know how they see and smell! (it kind of has an old school Doom vibe about it :)
@nathanjurevicius Hi Nathan! These blobs of walking soil are known as Tunnelers. They are servitors created by a green wizard and their mission is to transfer whatever the wizard wants or needs through underground tunnels they build themselves. They can also serve as spies on the surface as they can easily hide in pots and appear to be plants. The wizard is wanted by the authorities because once, for reasons that are still not clear, he had a small battalion of Tunnelers dig so much around a particular house that it sunk into the ground and it was completely lost. Two of the people living in the house at the time are missing. Tunnelers can also serve as temporary homes for different subterranean species of bugs and worms, which makes them protectors of the underground environment. They don’t really see and smell in the way we think about senses; they perceive the movement of the elements (earth, water, air, fire) in the environment and from these vibrations they get their information. They are awesome at detecting upcoming earthquakes, for example.
