Hello! Finally I did it. I am so relieved. I am not experienced with Illustrator, so I struggled with clipping mask. It took me four hours to figure it out. loved the process working with different media and experimenting. This way you releasing how important is sketching, using different media and letting yourself free. It's fun to creating different patterns and brushes. Now I am more experienced with Illustrator, and ready to do the next illustration.
Thank you Melanie for the course, it was amazing! I loved it, and your way of experimenting helped me to become more creative and let myself free and stop overthinking. Thank you! 😊

Teacher PlusWell done Leona! You have achieved an awesome food illustration and it really does look beautiful and makes me want to eat it- which is part of what you want to do-make a connection with your viewer.
Glad that you persevered with the program, the clipping mask is a tricky one, so good job to keep going with it. Hopefully you will create more illustrations with the methods and tips you've picked up.

Thank you Melanie! I love your beautiful food illustration and the whole composition, the plate and the chopping board with knife placed on the bottom. I used this idea for my composition. I couldn't came up with different idea, just the plate on the bottom right seemed to me perfect.
I worked on it for four days, I made some mistakes, but I have definitely some knowledge about the Illustrator. And definitely I will use this method again. Also, this course inspired me to be more creative. Thank you Melanie! 😊
