@nurya_nyc Hello! Thanks a lot!
As for the technique, I used India ink for blacks and grays (grays are the ink dissolved in water), after applying all the ink as a base working with different grays, and since the paper was dry, I put the color with prismacolor pencils. professional, the creaminess of these pencils together with the texture of the paper help to give expressiveness to the contrasts between black and color. To make the color gradients, you simply have to press the pencil less and less until you lose contact with the paper, thus I obtained the gradients to represent the shadows, in the trees for example.
I hope I have been clear explaining how I got it, if you want to see more of my work or keep in touch so that I can explain more about the techniques I use (or my plastic experiments) you can follow me on instagram at Bam Bam Collection and I always, always, always answer the comments they leave me. I will answer everything you want to know about my illustrations.
If I was not clear enough or you want to know something else, contact me and I will gladly tell you more.
Beautiful day!
