A selection of works before the pandemic with life models, these are part of the project Cuerpo Etereo that started in 2009 working with short poses. In this case I work with longer poses which span from 20 to 40min. Time can be an essential element in the production planning of a new body of work, dedicating a specific amount of time on each work.

A certain tension between line and wash is still present (as you could see in the previous Cuerpo Etereo project), but more tonal values are added to the final work, this is due to the time of the pose and the opportunity to enter into more details.
When we add time to a figure drawing we must be careful organizing our work from general to detail, a skill that can be learned with patience and constant practice: it's very important to balance different areas of the painting.
