Hi, I'm English-Greek and have lived in Greece for the last 40 years, so I have a mixed temperament. To define this further, I would say I have the serious practicality of my English father and the gregarious flamboyance of my Constantinople Greek mother. I'm still a very active English teacher and through this field I have been able to feed my creativity gene. I come from a long line of artists who inherited their talent from my maternal grandfather. He was responsible for the interior design and decorating of many of the Pasha's palaces in Constantinople/Istambul. Yes, I am proud of that fact even though I never met him. So my interest in art stems from him and my mother's side of the family. However, I was never allowed to develop it as my father was completely against this type of career so when I saw this course I felt I would like to have formal guidance and advice and finally lay the ghost to rest.
