Mariana Serrano

Hello, My name is Mariana Serrano and I am a visual designer based in Los Angeles. Most recently I have been working in the Bay area at Gap Inc. in the Creative Marketing Department for Gap Factory. I am a lover of plants, animals, scrumptious eats, massive amounts of coffee and the aesthetically pleasing. I have a passion for all things design but my concentration lies in a few different aspects of the field mainly typography/ lettering, identity/ branding, editorial design, illustration. etc. What I love about the design field is that it combines so many of my interests into one like photography, painting and drawing. I pretty much live and breathe design, I can't walk down the street without noticing every sign or building or billboard and analyzing it with a design eye. As a designer I want to help communicate visual ideas with people in an aesthetically pleasing way that will make them engage and explore the world around them and I hope to inspire them in some small way. My goal is to contribute work that has a social impact. I want to find continue to find a unique voice that will communicate important messages and explore visual ideas.
