Mariana Marques dos Santos

I graduated in Industrial Design at the IADE, Lisbon in 2008. Following this, I had the opportunity to develop my professional experience at MK3, Lisbon - Portugal, as a junior designer, than at EuroRscg Design&Arquitecture - Lisbon, Portugal as a intern graphic designer and than at MindImage Design, in Lisbon, Portugal as a graphic designer, also with many other companies as a freelance designer, focusing on editorial design, branding and corporate identity.

In October of 2009, I then moved to Barcelona where I completed a Masters degree in "Design and Graphic Production Management" at the prestigious school ELISAVA, Barcelona - Spain. This was a one year full time program where I had the chance to meet and learn from some of the most well known contemporary designers in Europe, improving my experience in this field, from the management to the final product.

In November 2012, I moved to Madrid where I live at the moment and where I worked as a freelance designer and where i finished a Professional Master's degree in “Community Management, Customer Management and Online Marketing” at CICE - Escuela profesional de las nuevas tecnologias.

From November 2014 I joined the marketing and advertising team of the Caredent Clinics in Madrid, Spain, to the present day.

I currently participate in Creative training course for art and design projects, Watercolour portrait notebook and Botanical illustratrion with watercolour.

Besides from my skills in Industrial and Graphic Design, I also have knowledge in Web Design, Community Management and Online Marketing.

The software that I usually work with is Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign (mainly applications for Mac).

Aside from my mother tongue, Portuguese, I have a very good level of written and spoken English and Spanish.
