I am a woman from the western fjords of Norway, now living on the very edge of the coast in the southwest.
My education is Library Science, and I work in the public library of Haugesund. My job is part historical archives and part assisting library users in the day-to-day.

I have always loved expressing myself creatively. I knit, draw, paint, sew, sculpt and explore. Very luckily we live in an old house with lots of small rooms, so I have my own hobby room where I can mess around without driving the others crazy. The others are my husband (since 1999) and my teen daughter + our cat Pelle.

In 2021 I was diagnosed with an aggressive breast cancer. I went through an operation, harsh chemotherapy and radiation therapy, and came out the other side cancer free but physically quite broken down. I still work on getting back to a sort of normal. If I had found the lump just a few weeks later than I did, it would have been too late and I probably wouldn't be here anymore. That made me decide to stop putting things off and start creating and learning even more, because I never know what lies around the next corner. So that's why I'm here.
