Overview :
As one of the world’s leading food companies is looking to transform their organization by shaping a true culture of content and influence, part of their plan is to build an in-house creative studio in Barcelona. Fully integrated within the client's marketing team, you will be responsible for developing the brand engagement strategy and execution in social media through paid media and influencers content for two of their newest and more innovative brands.

Responsibilities :
The Social Media Strategist will be responsible for working across all our client’s brands to develop the right social media strategy, content calendar and community managers to achieve their business objectives scheduling and posting and social listening.  They will ensure that the brands are best represented across all social media channels and used to achieve the business results: 

• Design social media strategies to achieve marketing targets 
• Manage, create and publish original, high-quality content 
• Administer all company social media accounts ensuring up-to-date content 
• Liaise with writers and designers to ensure content is informative and appealing 
• Collaborate with Marketing and Media teams to create social ‘buzz’ regarding new product launches or social events 
• Facilitate client-company communication (respond to queries, get reviews and organize chats and Q&A sessions) 
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports on web traffic and ROI 
• Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization 
• Communicate with industry professionals via social media to create a strong network 
• Train internal teams to integrate and maintain a cohesive social media strategy 
• Stay up-to-date with new digital technologies and social media best practices 

Requirements: 

• A background in Social Media Management 
• Previous experience working with Social Media technology such as Social Studios,  Planoly, Sprinklr, and Social Listening/Monitoring tools  
• Able to demonstrate the successful implementation of a social media strategy 
• Displays in-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, their respective participants (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, etc.) 
• Excellent writing and language skills 
• Able to demonstrate good technical understanding, including a working knowledge of principles of SEO including keyword research and Google Analytics. Highly knowledgeable in “Search and Social” 
• Ability to manage a team of social content creators and community managers 
• Hands-on approach with a can do attitude 
• Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills 
• Very high standards and an eye for detail 
• Professional manner – being aware at all times that this role is based at the client site 
• Robust – able to adapt to change 
• Able to work under pressure in a deadline driving environment 
• Able to work in an entrepreneurial environment 
• Planning & collaboration
o Influence marketing planning by identifying local and regional marketing opportunities for the two brands you will be in charge of.
o Serve as a health and fitness expert within the region, understand what is currently relevant within related landscapes, consistently identify and communicate emerging trends.
o Support the client’s brand activation strategy and collaborate to develop locally relevant brand initiatives.
o Partner with brands-related internal and external stakeholders relaying client requirements for all brand campaigns.
o Impact deployment and build-out of brand activations for the region and ensure they all are on-brand.
• Projects
o Support development and lead execution of brand marketing plans to achieve desired business objectives.
o Effectively manage and allocate resources to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery of brand initiatives, below as well as above the line.
o Develop and execute brand campaigns, ensuring the highest level of performance, quality, creativity.
o Collaborate with marketing teams to identify appropriate amplification opportunities to reach planned media outcome, across channels with focus on digital.
o Identify locally relevant opinion leaders (influencers), activate partnerships and nurture relationships to drive products’ trial and consumption.
o Identify events’ opportunities to leverage specific moments and deliver unique brand experiences to convert participation into the two brands marketing initiatives.
• Reporting
o Define which approaches and practices work best at driving brand engagement, enrolment and conversion.
o Help evaluate what success looks like across brand stakeholders through the facilitation of post-mortem and recap exercises.

Areas of knowledge & expertise that matter most:
