The ideal candidate is someone passionate about everything Social and live events (sport and music) and follows all the new trends, he/she tries, tests and forms an opinion on every new app, site, channel that he/she comes across.
Social Media Community Manager for StubHub LATAM will be responsible for managing communications and campaigns for our social media channels in Mexico and Brazil that articulate StubHub brand across a wide variety of social media activities and channels, including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube.
You will drive short and long-term social media strategy, day-to-day management of creative and editorial content, community development, monitoring of conversations and tracking of metrics for StubHub’s social media program. You will work closely with the communications, brand, marketing and customer service teams to build and deploy social media campaigns that help gain visibility and exceed business objectives.
You will have real experience in hands-on execution and creation of content and conversational engagement in the social media space. You will have the ability to communicate from the company’s brand tone and voice, create, curate available content and perspectives to help foster dialogue, quickly resolve issues and understand the inner workings as well as socially accepted protocols of social platforms.
We are looking for someone who has a strong track record of coming up with creative ideas and executing forward thinking social media campaigns that help a brand rise above the noise.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Define global community and content strategy
Manage the brand presence and reputation on owned social media platforms (primarily Twitter and Facebook)
Oversee day-to-day community management, which includes managing posts/status updates, fostering dialogue, answering questions or comments, monitoring trends, advising on potential opportunities and resolving issues
Identify potential influencers and brand advocates - develop a rapport with them that supports the StubHub’s brand aspirations and goals
Work actively to develop and execute social media activities and campaigns that meet the needs of both communications and marketing priorities
Assist with always-on paid social media programs
Give strategic direction and help manage the social media agency
Interface with various business units including PR, marketing, brand, advertising, product and customer service
Track metrics, monitor online competitor presence, report and communicate platform activity to internal team members
EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Languages: Nativet in Portuguese and Spanish Fluent in English.
You are a digital native with a track record (5+ years) in Communications, Marketing or/and social media management experience with increasing responsibilities
Direct community management experience for large brands
Advertising, digital or social media agency experience is a plus
High proficiency in digital and social media, with experience applying that knowledge successfully within a corporate context
Good knowledge of paid social and social media tools for analytics and monitoring
Creative, can think outside the box
Culture fit: fast paced, good communicator, problem solver, self-starter, organized, strong collaborator, attention to detail
Familiarity with e-commerce, tech companies and start-ups.
