I have a small business called Clobbr and I upcycle/rework denim garments (e.g. jeans, jackets, bags, aprons, collars and patches and also host sewing workshops for children and adults). I have participated in various workshops including eco dyeing which I have experimented with using my garden flowers and plants. The abstract fabrics I have created have been used as a story board for children's stitch and story workshops and as pieces to add to the garments I make. Eco dyeing/botanical dyeing is something I love and want to explore more because it fits well with my brand and ethos. I value the importance and love the well being that it also provides for me personally.
My background has been in secretarial, communication, administration, teaching pupils with severe learning difficulties work. I am now retired on ill health grounds and thoroughly enjoy having the time to explore my new small business (clobbr) whilst allowing myself time to keep well and quality family time.
