Daria Aksenova

My name is Daria Aksenova, and I'm a full-time Visual Narrative Artist currently residing in Houston, Texas. I specialize in meticulously illustrated, hand-cut, suspended, and layered, pen and ink narratives (think shadowboxes or dioramas). The current focus of my work is allegorical storytelling through the portrayal of human emotionality. I’ve been manipulating paper for 1549 days as of today and don’t plan on stopping anytime soon.
