Colombian Ana María Restrepo is a textile designer and artist, specializing in embroidery. She graduated in Textile Design from the prestigious London College of Fashion University, she specialized in embroidery techniques and graduated with the Mejores Superficies Textiles award.
In 2014 she was selected by TEXSELECT as one of the 24 most talented new textile artists in Europe and won the Cromos award, as the best new designer. She is the founder of the Amarpo brand, in which she unites art and fashion, customizing colorful pieces, natural elements, and maximizing traits, and collaborates with different brands such as Levi’s, Andres Pajon, Maria Elena Villamil, and Onda de Mar.

El curso es excelente en alcance, contenido, diseño. Las exposiciones sencillas y reta al estudiante a ser original; y a sacar toda su creatividad. En cuanto a los vídeos, el enfoque de la cámara algunas veces y los subtitulos tapan el ejemplo de punto de bordado que Ana María está trabajando. Se podría complementar con una camara superior o en mejor posición; y orientar los subtitulos de tal manera que no obstaculicen el bordado que ella está haciendo.
