Next, Andrés teaches you to create basic figures along with a trick for rounding out corners. Learn to transform objects and even create them with the Pencil and Brush tools. Use the Type tool to edit text and, finally, start to add color to your creations.
Discover how to get the most out of your typography using Opentype and Glyphs. See how to use different fonts as well as transform a text into an object to modify the characteristics of the letters.

This course was probably great a few years ago. The problem is that the software user interface has changed quite a bit since whenever this course was released. I managed to muddle my way through but it was not an optimal experience. I've had to look for newer resources to supplement what I learned here. The issue is compounded when trying to follow sketchy English translations. I'd like to be able to recommend the course as I generally do with Domestika courses. Unfortunately I cannot.

I purchased this course without checking the required level, and I was over qualified for most of the content. 😅
Nonetheless I've gathered some useful tips and also (re)discovered some tools that I wasn't using.
I would recommend this course to any designer with less than 2 years of experience but it can be interesting even for some expert designers looking for a refresher on typography rules and vectors.
