## Requirements and materials

No prior knowledge is required for this course, although it does involve some level of complexity, so patience and a strong desire to learn are recommended. You also need a support for your piece, rope to weave with, materials to add color (cotton yarn, wool, or thin rope), scissors, a measuring tape, hooks, and a hoop or frame to hang your finished project.

### Introduction

In this unit I will tell you a little about myself, about my work, my workshop, and how I got to dedicate myself to the macramé. I will also tell you what inspires me to make my pieces.

### First steps

In this unit I will present the basic materials that I use when making my pieces, and we will review the main knots, to immediately mix them and create more complex knots.

### Let's do it

In this unit we will start weaving our loom, but first we will see how I do for the design of this loom and how I calculate the material I need to be able to create it.

### Care and other applications of your tissue

With our loom finished, let us know the care we must give as well as the different applications that have the knots learned during the course.
