“In this lesson, I'm going to show you how I design a particular amigurumi animal. In this case, it's going to be the giraffe. First of all, I draw a sketch. I begin with the head, because for me, it's the head that really makes the amigurumi character. You have to decide first what shape do I want the head to be. Do I want it to be round, oval? I don't like my heads to be too round, so let's try. So, I think that's about right. Your pictures don't have to be perfect. Next, I decide about the eyes. I usually make the eyes lower in my amigurumis. I think they look really cute, so let's try. O...”
