Jesper has a great personality that really shines through and helps me feel at ease and inspired. Working on the steps in the course really does lead to better results. He uses an airbrush to keep his paint wet but you could use a mister or wet brush if you wanted to follow exactly. I had an airbrush I never use, so finally I'm getting some use out of it. The course is packed full of great information and advice, no fluff here - it's all relevant. My favourite course so far on Domestika :D

It is not everyday that a prominent fantasy artist will teach you step-by-step, the making of his art. this is a very insightful course and I learned a lot of technique that I can apply to my own art style

This was an excellent course, with a lot of details on how to breakdown a complex painting into smaller achievable steps, and the tips about the narrative of the painting was the icing on the cake. I highly recommend this course!
Great course! I really like Jesper's color technique and the way he approaches composition. His characters are very fun and unique.
Super excellent course. I really like the artstyle. i just realize that acrylic paint can be use to paint in this artstyle. Loved it.

This is absolutely brilliant course! I'm a watercolour artist struggling with acrylics, and Jesper shows the technics that could possibly be a solution to my issues and I'll give another chance to this medium. Not to mention I'm huge fan of MTG and bought this course without knowing who he is. What a great reveal and excitement it was :)
A very complete course on how to paint a fantasy illustration. There were lots and lots of good advice to achieve a good painting, awesome! Plus it's well shot so that all is very clear and defined. The only drawback in my opinion, is that Jesper is too good at drawing and maybe takes it a bit for granted, when so many of us struggle to get only a fraction of what he's able to do. So maybe next course why not put the emphasis on drawing and design? My rating : 4/5
