In this unit, I will show you the principles of slip-casting clay with plaster moulds and the space required for working with dusty and messy materials.

### From the Mould to the Ceramic Piece

Let's get started with the course project. I'll show you how to prepare your mould, mix plaster, cast, fire in the bisque, and finish!

### Optional Detailiing and Cast Ideas

Maybe you're already happy with the final look of your piece, but if you'd like to add some embellishments, this unit is for you! I will outline some methods to decorate your piece, before showing you some alternative methods to repeat casts.
