Farron Feiner fell in love with weaving the moment she took to the loom. ‘I’m in a flow state when I’m weaving, hours go by and I don’t notice the time at all. I’m completely content and in a state of bliss’, she says. Farron is known for her large-scale, organic landscapes and bold use of color. She won the emerging art prize autumn from Banditto Residency, and collaborated with Funem Studios to create a barragan inspired fiber pack and weaving pattern.

### Introduction

Hello! Welcome, and thank you for choosing this Domestika course. 

In this unit, I will share how weaving found me and how my creative passion allows me to work on my evolution simultaneously. You will know how I fell in love with weaving and discovered the flow state through artistic expression.

### Practicing and Designing

Leveling up your design process. This unit shows you how to get inspired and connect to your inspiration before developing your design. Additionally, you will need to collect inspirational pictures from photos, books, or magazines. You will also need blank paper and colored pencils to sketch your design.

### The Course Project Flow

Now you'll learn about workspace preparation and making a finished weaving. I’ll be going over using the different stitches in my final design, how I construct the wave-esc structures in my weavings, plus some tips on weaving and hanging your finished tapestry.

### Showing off the Work

Last but not least, you will see how to hang out the weaving and keep it in good condition.
