Requirements and materials

To take this course you need basic knowledge of drawing with watercolor.

Regarding the materials, you need watercolor pencils, watercolor paper, Arches and Hahnemülle, watercolor tubes, round watercolor brushes, a flat oil paint brush, a scanner or camera to digitize your illustration, and a computer with Adobe Photoshop.

Carlos Rodríguez Casado

Carlos Rodríguez Casado was born in Palencia, Spain, in 1993. Always interested in drawing and art, he moved to Madrid to begin his studies in Graphic Design, later abandoning them for Illustration.

He currently works as a press and editorial illustrator. His watercolor caricatures have graced the pages of different national newspapers such as El Mundo, El Español; the magazines Interviú, Cambio 16, Líbero, and other international publications, as well as television media such as Movistar Cero (collaboration with Jot Down).

One of his pieces became the official image of the hit MTV series Teen Wolf, exhibited in Times Square and at the Art Directors Club in New York.
