Hello, I welcome you to this Domestika course. Thank you for delving into this story that we are going to tell together.

 In this unit I am going to share with you how stories came into my life and why I wanted to make them my job. I will also tell you about other storytellers who have been fundamental in my path.

### What am I counting on?

In this unit, I will teach you how to find and choose stories to tell. I will also explain the elements that make up every story told orally.

### How to adapt a story to orality?

In this unit you will enter fully into the story you chose. I will show you five steps to follow to adapt your story to orality and to your own words and language, so that when you tell it it is natural. I'll also teach you techniques for learning (never memorizing!) your story.

### Tell the tale

In this unit, we will apply everything we have learned to be able to tell our story. I will talk to you about how to deal with rehearsals, the types of spaces and audiences and what we are looking for when narrating. Finally the moment of truth will come, to tell the tale!
