Javier Alcaraz is a graphic designer with specialized studies in typography design and art direction for editorial design. He started in newspaper design in Argentina and worked in the development of publications and institutional communications in Ecuador. In 2004, he settled in Mexico, working for major publishers like Grupo Medios and Expansión.

In 2011, he founded his design studio, elcerezo, where he develops editorial publications, identity projects, and typography solutions for clients in Latin America and Europe, including Google, the Mexican Secretariat of Culture, TetraPack, Forbes, Polyforum Siqueiros, Storytel, and Reader's Digest. He has taught classes in the editorial design master's programs at both Centro de Estudios Gestalt de Veracruz and Universidad Autónoma de San Luis Potosí.
