In this unit, I’ll tell you more about my background and experience in and outside the design field. I want to share with you what lead me to consider digital accessibility, along with some references  that inspire my practice so far.

### Why Does Digital Accessibility Matter?

Now you will get to know what digital accessibility is before diving into your project. You’ll look at how to describe it, some key facts and benefits, and how it can manifest and be experienced.

### Building Blocks

Now you will see how to lay the foundation for your design system, including digital accessibility thinking at every step. First, you'll look at colors, type, and copywriting. Then you'll learn everything you need about design states and animation rules.

### Bringing Everything Together

In this unit, I will teach you how to prototype your project, test some of its interactions and look into areas of future improvements.
