Using my sketch as a reference, and I encourage you to do the same, let's pick an element that you feel comfortable doing first. I have my sketch here, and I'll pick one of the elements that is one of the natural forms that will allow me to have the freedom to make a few mistakes if they happen. I'll pick the fern design. It's lovely and simple, and it's on a pocket, so the boundary of the design is clear. I decided that my design would be in black and gold. I like to make decisions organically...”
