José Luis Ágreda, was born in Seville in 1971 and is an illustrator and cartoonist. He has been a regular contributor to the newspaper El País and the humor weekly El Jueves for more than fifteen years. He has worked in advertising, press illustration, book illustration, comics and character design for animation, collaborating with clients such as Planet, Disney, PRISA, Ogilvy, Hachette, Norma, El Jueves, Image ...
In 2001 he created the album Cosecha Rosa (Undercómic publishing house), winner of the Best National Work Award in both the Barcelona and Madrid Comic Fair. In 2008 he started the successful series of children's stories CARLA (editorial Timun Mas), which have left fifteen titles.
