## Requirements and materials

A basic understanding of cameras (ISO, aperture, shutter speed, autofocus, etc.) is highly recommended for this course; however, you can follow along with your teacher's explanations using his own camera, a Nikon D850.

In terms of materials, you need a DSLR or DSLM camera, a lens, and a computer with access to Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop.

### Introduction

Hello and welcome to my Domestika course! I'm Michael Schauer, a nature and landscape photographer from Munich.

 In this unit I will introduce myself and talk about my inspiration and approach to nature photography.

### Photographic Basics

Before we start looking for a location, we first have to take a look at how our equipment works, what options we have and what we can achieve with good compositions.

### Production

We definitely want to take our pictures outside as well. But what do we want to photograph? And where?

 In this unit I'll tell you where we can find inspiration, where to explore beautiful places online and what I look for when I actually go there.

### Post-production

In this unit we walk through my complete editing process. This includes importing and curating the images. We will then edit some of the curated images with Lightroom Classic and, if necessary, refine them in Photoshop.

Finally, we take a look at what you can do with your images afterwards - where can you show them and what are NFTs?
