You will make the sketch first and then you will vectorize your project with Illustrator and add all kinds of effects and textures with Photoshop, so that it can be applied on digital or printed media with an optimal quality with a professional finish.
What is this course project?
You will make four illustrated letterings: an 'A', an ampersand, a number eight and a monogram. From there you can create all the letters and words you want.

It is advisable, although not essential, to have basic knowledge of lettering and calligraphy.
With regard to materials you will use markers, pencils, paper, a computer on which you must have installed Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, camera (which can be the one of your mobile phone) and it is also recommended that you use a graphic tablet.

After a lifetime as a designer, illustrator and publicist, Joluvian began a few years ago a romance with the alphabet and strokes with brushes. Since then he has not stopped making lyrics. He studied graphic design in Mérida (Venezuela), and worked for many years as an art director; In 2009 he decided to move to Spain, where he did a master's degree in 3D and postgraduate studies in illustration, while he began to take courses in calligraphy and lettering.
