## Content

### Introduction

Hi! I welcome you to my course at Domestika. In this unit, I will share with you my trajectory through different areas in the visual arts world and how I learned to seek references in everything I consume. I will also talk about how these references influence my work and how I learned to organize them for my projects.

### Knowing the worlds you will work in

In this unit, you will begin to understand the world in which you will work. This includes both the animation area and the processes for getting to know the world in which your client operates. In other words, you will learn about the 2D animation market, what your role will be, how to understand the briefing and how and where to look for very accurate references for your project.

### developing the content

In this unit, we are going to start producing the vignette project. I'll show you how I make decisions about which creative path to take, and then I'll go through the first steps of filmmaking.

In the storyboard and animatic stages, we'll think about the content of the vignette and, at the end of this unit, I'll teach you some basics about colors and typography so that we can then proceed with the development of the first style frames.

### Defining the look of your content

Continuing from the previous unit, let's start applying the basics of visual development to the content we've defined in the storyboard. I'm going to create my first layouts by developing the style frames and, based on these concepts, I'm going to apply the same style throughout all the planned scenes.

### Animation and Finalization

In this unit, we are going to reach the final stretch of the project. We'll quickly work with simple animations and finish the project in post-production on the vignette, all within After Effects.
