“Influences Now that you know a bit more about me, in this lesson, we will talk about my influences. One of my biggest influences is vintage and antique stores. You never know what you might find for inspiration. There could be an old child's toy or a vase, or an object with an interesting shape. I can then turn that into inspiration for motifs and my repeat pattern illustration. Another big influence are plants and flowers. I always turn to nature when I'm feeling stuck creatively. Going outside to look up closely at tiny flowers or leaves, or any of the intricate patterns that nature creat...”
