## What is this course's project?

Implement the El Sindicato Arquitectura method to design a habitable architectural space for the purpose of your choice (residence, meditation space, workspace, etc.) in the location you decide.

## Requirements and materials

Basic notions of design and architecture are recommended for this course, but are not essential. A working knowledge of a 2D or 3D digital drawing program will also be helpful, although pencil and paper are perfectly fine for completing the project. 

In terms of materials, you need a computer with a 2D or 3D drawing program, paper, and pencils.

### Introduction

Hello, I welcome you to our course at Domestika. To begin with this course, we will tell you who we are and how our collaborative work team emerged: El Sindicato. In addition, we will share with you the references that frame 4 positions in our lives: life and work, voids and opportunities, material and structure, and finally, architecture and aesthetics.

### Predesign

We will deal with the main issues that you need to address prior to the beginning of architectural design such as analysis of the client, use, physical environment and legal framework, You will define the conceptual strategies that will help you resolve any questions you face when designing.

### Preliminary Draft

You will go from the conceptual strategies to work on three strategies: function, form and structure that will define the architectural blueprint.

### Architectural project

You will begin to make the detailed architectural drawing by taking the first step towards the construction definition. First you will define the materiality of the project, then you will adjust the architectural plans to the constructive reality, as a third step you will design the furniture and accessories and finally, you will put together the executive project to deliver to your client.
