## Content

### Introduction

Hi! I welcome you to my course at Domestika. In this first unit, I will tell you about my trajectory up to the present moment and share with you some of the artists who inspire and influence my work on a daily basis.

### warming the imagination

Let's start! In this unit, we'll separate all the materials that will be needed to weave a tapestry, understand the difference that the different types of warp threads make in the result of the piece, and see some tips on measurements and proportions.

So, let's get to the best part of all: creating a mood board with the references that most inspire us to design our final project. We will also choose the colors of the tapestry and define the color for each area of the piece.

### Hands on the loom!

This is the unit of action, it is now that we are going to start the manual weaving work. For this, we will then pass and stretch the thread on the loom. With the project in hand, let's define the best point at which we'll start making the wefts, applying the fringes, creating the volumes and finally the dreads.

### final moments

We are nearing the end of the course! In this unit, we'll see the finishes for the tapestry and how to shape the volumes. I'll show you how I usually take the piece off the loom and how to make a safe package to send to my customers.
