Learn to conceptualise and draw a vignette

Turn your critical spirit into a professional weapon. In this course, Raúl Salazar, a viñetista from El Jueves, tells you step by step how to become an ace of graphic humor. With the sharp pencil and sarcasm you will learn to create graphic jokes about current news, knowing the referents of the political-social opinion vignette and working the script from the idea to the final comic.

What's included in this course?

The objective of this course is to learn the fundamental steps so that you can create your own current bullet. First, you will be introduced to the role of the vignette in the world of communication and discover all its potential through the new channels. Then, before taking the pencil, you will work on obtaining the script from a creative process that will allow you to facilitate the appearance of ideas. Raúl will gut many vignettes to show you an interesting list of creative resources very common in the work of different authors. Once the idea has been obtained and the script has been finalized, you will go on to create the image of the vignette with the final drawing.

What is this course project about?

Devise and bring to reality a graphic humor cartoon about a news story. This course will provide you with the tricks and tools to be able to produce a new bullet day after day, news after news.

Who is it for?

The course is aimed at anyone who wants to understand the mechanism of graphic humor and who wants to make the pencil a critical weapon. It is not necessary to know how to draw since, as indicated by Raúl, you can solve a story with very simple lines.

Requirements
