Interested in exploring the possibilities of “painting” with thread? In this online course, Yolanda Andrés—an artistic embroiderer whose clients include firms and institutions such as Hermès, the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum, and Carolina Herrera—teaches you how to recreate any image or object with a needle and thread.

## Who is this online course for?

Anyone who is interested in transforming an object or image into a unique, hand-embroidered piece.

## What is this course's project?

Embroider any image using the different stitching techniques seen throughout the course. Yolanda uses an illustration of a rooster as an example, but you can use any image you like.

## Content

### Introduction

In this first unit I'll tell you some other story so you can know me better. I think it is very important that we know all of us who are going to be in the course and how I am the first one. Here I present myself!

### Preparing to embroider

Before starting to embroider, there are some issues that I would like to comment on. In this unit I dedicate myself to tell you general recommendations regarding materials, how to transfer your drawing to the fabric and a review of the main stitches, so that you enter the subject.
