Katerin Gómez is a craft lover and professional toymaker specialized in the needle felting technique. She graduated in Drawing and Illustration at La Escuela Nacional de Caricatura, the first illustration school in Colombia, where she went on to work for almost ten years as a designer, teacher, and event and exhibit organizer. After a short but transformative experience at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Lucerne, Switzerland, she returned to Bogotá and turned her career around by betting on her great childhood passion: character creation.
Today, she combines her training in illustration and her desire to tell stories by creating unique dolls for her creative toy store, Juanamatú.
