## Content

### Introduction

Hi! Welcome to my Domestika course. My name is Davis Lisboa, I was born in São Paulo and I'm a storyboard artist professional.

In this unit, you will learn a little about my trajectory and discover some incredible artists that influenced my work. And finally, I will present the step-by-step of the final project of the course: a full-color storyboard.

### Cinematic narration

In this second unit, I'll explain what a storyboard, so that it serves and what is your story. I will also talk about the similarities and differences between a storyboard for cinema and another for advertising.

In addition, you will see what are the elements that make up the cinematographic narrative and that every storyboard artist should know since this is the common language that all who are part of the audiovisual industry share.

### Initial Planning

In this unit, you will see step by step how to carry out the initial planning of a storyboard. I will explain the importance of making a creative visual interpretation of a script by imagining each scene to tell the story. From that script and in Adobe Illustrator we will do the roughs of the final project. And in sequence, I will set up a mood board that will help, in the next phase, to make the basic digital compositions with the researched images.

### Realization of the storyboard

In this unit, you will learn some basic concepts about layers and brushes. In addition, I will make the outline lines of the storyboard and to finish I will apply the color.

### The delivery

In this unit, I will explain how to export a document from Adobe Photoshop and the iPad to the iMac, which will be the device that I will use for the last adjustments of the frames on the storyboard. And you will also see how to deliver your work simply and quickly through a free platform.

And finally, I will show some corrections on the storyboard as an example of final adjustments that are usually requested by customers.
