Consultant / Advertiser / Engineer / Anthropologist

Dani Granatta is an expert in advertising and innovation. He was born in Spain but has been living in the United States and Mexico for more than 10 years.

His love for advertising and innovation was casual. He had studied engineering, he knew how to program and one day he came across multimedia programs such as Macromedia Director or Flash and suddenly, what were numbers on the screen before, had become objects that moved and with which users could interact.

He founded a small company with two friends and for years he dedicated himself to building interfaces and multimedia experiences, always very curious to know why people used them or not, until one day he decided to study Anthropology.

He is currently a consultant for innovation and futures design but he has also worked for many years in advertising in agencies such as Grupo W, JWT, where he was Creative General Manager and in Flock, he started a movement that was looking for a disruptive change in the way of advertising in the Mexican industry.

In his role as a publicist, Dani has won major awards from the world of advertising, including 6 lions in Cannes in a single year, and has been sworn in a lot of festivals.

Granatta is also a book writer and columnist in different magazines and blogs, as well as an instructor at universities and schools in Spain, the United States and Mexico.
