## Requirements and materials

No previous skills in drawing or watercolor are required, but a basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop is recommended.

As for materials, you will need any kind of watercolor, soft brushes, watercolor paper, pencil, glue, paper towels, water containers, a palette to mix the paint, pencil, ruler, tape, and a computer with Photoshop installed.

### Introduction

Hello! Welcome to my Domestika course! In this unit, I will introduce myself and tell a little about my journey as a visual artist, which started out only as a form of therapy and ended up becoming my work. In addition, you will get to know my influences and the artists I admire. And in the end, I'll explain what we're going to do during the course and what the final project will be.

### First steps

In this unit, I will start by presenting the materials that will be used in the courses and the different types that can be found on the market, as well as recommendations from some brands for those who are starting and for those who want to become professional. 

 I will also explain how to create a _mood board_ for your illustrations and a color palette to help make your work more harmonious. At the end, I will teach you some exercises to release your hand when painting and present the main techniques of watercolor painting.

### Bringing illustration to life

In this unit, you will begin to take the first steps towards your final project. First, I will explain the basic structure of a pattern. And then, I will illustrate the botanical elements that will be part of the print.

### Painting our elements

In this unit, we will put into practice the watercolor techniques seen in previous classes. I will create a color palette from the images of the mood board created and paint the drawings.

### Producing stamped objects

We have reached the last phase of the course! In this unit, I will start by digitizing and treating the paintings. I will explain each of the processes. You will then see the creation of the _pattern_ by hand, but this time with the help of Adobe Photoshop. I will present some examples of products to stamp your work and some ways to be able to commercialize them. Finally, I will teach you how to prepare your files for printing.
