## Requirements and materials

To take this course, you need access to a computer with Photoshop, After Effects, Cinema 4D, and Octane Render, or similar software.

### Introduction

Hello and welcome to our Domestika course. We really hope you enjoy it.

In this unit we will introduce you to ourselves and the work we do. We will also speak about the creatives that have been most influential in our careers.

### Inspiration, Concepting and Storyboarding

In this unit, you will start formulating your ideas and we will help you get the creative juices flowing. In our story, we have come up with varying poses and compositions. The students don’t need to have such a complex setup, but we would like to cover as many bases as possible in our story so that they can pick and choose (We have close-up shots, full body frontal, full body profile, as well as objects in 2D and 3D).

### 2D Design

In this unit, you will start designing! You will dive straight into designing your protagonist, the frames from your storyboards, and coming up with design rules for your piece.

### 3D Design

In this unit, you will learn some 3D modeling techniques in Cinema 4D.

### 3D Animation

You have all the pieces, now it’s time to start animation! In this unit, you will learn the importance of timing, pacing and animate 3D elements in Cinema 4D.

### 2D Animation

You have all the pieces, now it’s time to start animation! In this unit, you will learn the importance of timing, how we animate our character and other elements in After Effects.

### Lighting, Texturing and Rendering

In this unit, you will learn how to make your 3D animation come to life with textures and lighting. We will then render the final 3D look and bring it into our After Effects file for final compositing.
