Meet Aidan Barker-Hill
The fine artist and fine art instructor lives and works in Brooklyn, New York. Barker-Hill (@aidan_barker_hill) comes from an artistic family, his grandfather being an architect, took young Aidan sketching in their hometown of Reno, Nevada. The architect also showed our fine instructor, artists like Rembrandt and Andrew Wyeth. This early exposure instilled in Aidan a love for realistic figurative art, and at 18 he chose to go to art school at Laguna College of Art and Design.
On a less exiting note he also knows how to clean brushes...! And he will teach us how to do just that! He can't instruct us on how to have an architect grandfather or how to choose to go to art school at 18 unfortunately but perhaps he can show us his love for art... The art of cleaning brushes! A way to instill disciplined cleanliness, like in Karate Kid: "Paint on, Paint off!"
