Introduction
In this storyboard, I've decided to focus the graphical representation of the concepts around a circular shape in the entire animation, which allowed me to be playful with that concept and really helped me get ideas for every section of the script. The storyboard quickly switches from scene to scene in a very descriptive way, always following the rule of having an illustration that is contained in a circle on the middle of the screen.
Supplies
Sketching the storyboard was in an analog way, with pencil and paper. animatic was built using Illustrator to extract the images separately and Premiere pro to edit and to build the SFX track.
Planning
When planning, the pillars were defined:
PREMISE
To talk about a place surrounded by mystery, encouraging it to be discovered
STRUCTURE
Circular (literal and metaforically) - always reusing the same graphical resource of a circle to tell the story
TONE
Phantasy
The circle also fills the rule of a type of "character", as it is always the common asset in all of the screens.
Storyboard
This step of the process was really straightforward after the central concept of a circle was defined. I quickly filled some quick notes with visual concepts that are circular-ish, then the storyboard process was really quick, as it only was about illustrating those concepts.

Animatic
Building the animatic was also quick, with sound assets taken from freesounds.org. The sounds in this step had a big impact on building ambience in each scene.
