The Lassie series and movies were part of my childhood so when I started this personal project of "Dogs in Movies" I knew that at some point I would have to embroider it. The flowers in the print remind me of the yellow dress that Elizabeth Taylor wore on the Courage of Lassie movie poster.
The complete piece is embroidered with cotton threads (DMC, Anchor & Madeira) in printed cotton fabric.
