Here's the translation into American English:
First, I would like to thank David Morales @dava22 for his excellent work on the course, from which I learned a new technique and thoroughly enjoyed the process.
In the beginning, David asks us what a "vital notebook" means. I had never reflected on this, but after drawing themes related to myself and my environment, I can say that apart from learning a technique, this course also helped me to organize/plan my work, and above all, it served as a tool for introspective journeying and enjoyment throughout the creative process of each page that I am going to show from my vital notebook. For me, drawing is a liberating act and a continuous learning experience.
After watching the course videos, I reflected on what inspired me in my day-to-day life and pictorial processes and what themes I would draw. Nature, the landscape, botany, objects and textures, food, and family activities resonated with me.
I theoretically configured the pages by themes to give the notebook cohesion and coherence. To do this, I also decided to add small improvised reflections without overthinking. I let myself be guided by what I felt and what the drawings were saying to me at each moment.
The materials I have used are as follows:
2H Pencil.
Bread crumb eraser and soft eraser.
Sharpener with a compartment for collecting shavings (for drawing outdoors).
Calibrated markers of various brands: 0.01-0.1-0.2-0.5-0.8.
Fountain pen.
Moleskine Art Collection A5 notebook of 165 grams for the project.
Book for sketches & notes (SM-LT) A5 of 90 grams for the assigned tasks.
I started with the Pothos that David suggests and teaches in the video to practice the Crosshatching technique. I drew it with a pencil, observing the photograph and measuring the leaves and spaces, relating their parts, and, in the end, framing it on the blog page.
I outlined the illustration with a single line using a 0.8 mm Micron, then with 0.5 on the inner contours, leaving 0.05 for the minor details (spots, leaf veins) to add information gradually. Finally, I applied the crosshatching technique to the pot and the soil.

The following illustrations are related to my surroundings and the everyday objects close to my daily life: the plant world (leaves, flowers, trees), the familiar flavors and smells, and the sea. As I mentioned earlier, I have accompanied them with small reflections, things that came to my mind without much thought.
In all of them, I applied the crosshatching technique described in the Pothos exercise but applied more hatching with the 0.05 micron. After drawing the first hatch and imagining where the lights and shadows were placed, I added more vertical, horizontal, and diagonal lines to achieve at least three different tones.

The next series of illustrations consist of family scenes and everyday moments. I used the technique taught in the course but added some patterns/doodles, such as short hatching, uneven hatching, stippling, doodles, and the occasional fluid line... To describe the contour, I varied the direction of lines to depict the cross contour of some shapes, such as the trees in the forest at the back of the illustration.
I used photographs, tracing a grid on them to facilitate the work. I converted them to black and white and then transferred them to the Moleskine notebook.
I traced the outline with lines and then gave them the proper shape. The inking process is the same as previously described. Still, in this case, I started with a 0.5 Micron for the outer contours, then with 0.05, I began the crosshatching patterns on the darker areas of the photograph and continued to the less intense areas inside. Gradually, I compared these areas to adjust the tones, always focusing on the lights and shadows in the photograph. A simple vertical or horizontal line is often enough to convey the brightest light area.
All of them include some text, as I explained earlier.

The next series consists of illustrations related to landscapes and architecture, utilizing the rule of thirds and crosshatching. I first completed the proposed exercise in the course to better understand the application of light and shadow. As previously explained, the process is the same: converting the photo to black and white, starting with contour lines, filling spaces in the darkest (almost black) areas with a 0.05 Micron, and gradually adding hatching for contrast. Additionally, I created various textures in areas of leaves, plants, and branches.
