As this is not a real assignment, I mirrored the image because it felt easier to paint it that way.
The grid method was really handy, and I think I will use it a lot from now on!
I started with the darkest and did the shadow side first, as best I could.
The photos show the progress from grid to final.
Looking at the ‘final’ painting, I think perhaps the white marking on the jack russel’s head should stand out a bit better against the background. Also the blues aren’t quite as prominent in real life as in the photo. And my signature needs a bit more work…
I feel I’ve gotten many useful tips from this course and learned a lot, thank you!

Wow Adorei o seu trabalho. Um dos melhores aqui. Gostei como você não fez o blend deixando cada pincelada bem evidente. As variações de temperatura das cores (quente e frio) estão muito boas.
