Here's some artwork that I created for Mezco ToyzThey provided me this sketch. This was the style that they wanted to replicate. Here's a photo of the action figure. There's a lot of great detail to work with. I created a separate file with just the overalls and then imported it into Adobe Illustrator where I used LiveTrace. After I converted the overalls to a vector file I drew the character in Adobe Fresco using the tapered brush. In order to get a consistent lines in the helmet I duplicated lines and placed them side by side.
