Revolution: The History of Handspinning

This was my first short film made entirely out of wool. When the local company HansenCrafts approached me about making a video showing the history of handspinning, I saw the opportunity to lean into my growing interest in needle felting. I knew this audience would love animation with fiber. There are so many different scenes in this video, which made it a real crash course in making landscapes and puppets. I believe it took me about 3 months to make this animation. This still remains one of my favorite client pieces, and marked a turning point in the type of animation I make.
