Embroidered Vintage Seed Packet Botanical Illustration

For this project I was hired by the Denver Children's Museum to create embroideries that looked like vintage seed packets. I created the pattern for each vegetable with watercolor. I then designed the packet border and label and had it screen printed on fabric. I then stitched each vegetable on the fabric using thread painting techniques. Once it was fully stitched I mounted it on a canvas board.
