Ink Botanical Study with Geometric Block

1. Create your still life arrangement and then do quick thumbnail sketches of different potential compositions- this is a good stage to be experimental

2. Pencil sketch the piece onto your paper

3. Ink the items in the foreground, these can be quite detailed, but don't overwork it as you can come back at the end to add more where you feel necessary.

4. Drawing/Painting the items in the background, less detail is needed here, focusing more on the balance of the composition and contrast.

5.Add in the final graphic touch- a bold and unexpected touch to the piece
